It looks like I have a lot to live up to with a big brother like Stoney, and I'm going to try to be the best Schnauzer I can. I've never met Stoney since he's at Rainbow Bridge but my human parents talk about and miss him a lot.
I don't mind that they still miss Stoney but hey, mom and dad, you've got me now and although I don't always listen and I chew up things I shouldn't, I'm your new furry kid and I'm going to get better as I grow up and you're going to be proud of me too.
Below are the first online photos my new human parents saw of me. I was 6 months old at this time and still waiting to be adopted.
"It's me, little no name Schnauzer, at 6 months old"
"Yes, I look tired....I just got done playing with the other Schnauzers"
I have no idea why I wasn't adopted sooner.....maybe because I'm smaller than other Standard Schnauzers. I think I was pretty cute at that time and besides, size isn't everything when you have so many other good points to offer. I'm cute, smart, brave, cuddley, and very loveable.
"First photos in my new home"
"First photos in my new home"
I know that I look kind of sad and scared. This was because it was my first day in my new home and I was very tired after our long road trip from my first home....Oakwood Kennels. I was a little scared because this was a whole new life for me.....a six month old puppy. I wasn't scared of my new human parents because I knew they were going to be good parents. We dogs just know things like this.
"Me....in our convertible"
"Happiness is hanging out of a convertible"
These photos were taken last summer and it was a great first summer for me, the new furry kid. I love riding in our convertible, especially when the top is down. Some people say that Schnauzers don't smile but look at me.....I'm smiling!
"Resting in our golf cart after a long ride"
"If I had longer legs, I could drive"
Mom and I ride on the many roads in our community in our golf cart. Riding in cars is great but riding in a golf cart lets you cruise around for many hours without using a lot of gas. I don't care about this, but my mom does. Also, we can drive up really close to the deer, wild turkeys and other wild critters....without them running away.
"I'm growing....I'm now 10 months old"
"Check out my slim body and my long legs, I could be a doggie model"
I'm 10 months old now and I'm still growing. I hope those people that didn't choose me because I was too small.....see my photos and see how big I am now. Dad says that I'm very pretty and he also says that I'm as smart as a whip.....whatever that is.
My First Birthday!
"I'm one year old today"
"I'm still waiting to open my gifts"
"Hey, this party hat is squishing my ears"
"I think I'll take a bite out of the cake"
So now I know what a birthday is. It's having to sit around while mom puts a dumb party hat on my head, then makes me sit still while she takes lots of pictures, then gets mad when I take a bite out of my birthday cake. Some fun! I think I'll skip my birthday next year.
My First Christmas
"Oh my, that pillow looks like me"
"Where are the gifts?"
Well, I've got to admit.....my first Christmas was more fun than my first birthday. I got so many toys and treats that I was in doggie heaven. According to my mom, I should have gotten coal for Christmas, whatever coal is......because I wasn't the best behaved dog the past year. I guess this is true because I do things that make mom and dad yell at me. I don't know how many times I've heard mom say I'm a bad, bad doggie. Hey, I'm just being me, a young doggie that is full of life and energy.
"So, this is snow....I like it."
"Now where did my ball go?"
"Check me out...I'm a doggie model."
"Mom said this red thing is to keep me warm."
So, this is winter. I like winter because it's fun to play in the snow but I think I like summer better because it doesn't get dark so early. Mom said spring will be here soon and we can ride in our golf cart and have the top down on our convertible. Woof, I can't wait!
"My mom made up this calendar with me on it for Valentine's Day."
"Mom also made up bookmarks with me on them."
"Pa" Parsifal Di Casa Netzer - Westminster Best in Show 1997
The Standard Schnauzer in the photo above, "Pa" (Parsifal Di Casa Netzer), is my great grandfather. Wow, he won Best in Show at Westminster Kennel Club in 1997. I guess that's why I'm such a pretty schnauzer, mom and dad think I'm beautiful so I guess this is where I get my good looks from....my great grandfather Pa. No....I'm not bragging because telling the truth is not bragging....at least not in a dog's mind. Woof!
"Our community golf cart parade July 4th 2013
"I see a dog in the golf cart behind us."
"We're following lots of other golf carts."
"Check out our license plates."
" Time to rest a little. It's over for this year and I can't wait until the next golf cart parade."
"It's Halloween, me and the pumpkin."
"Check out my pumpkin scarf."
"I'm standing next to the wooden witch...she's a little scary."

"SANTA AND ME - CHRISTMAS 2014"
I'm growing up, I'm not a puppy anymore. I really like my home and I love my parents and my furry friends. Life is pretty good for me. My mom will be adding more photos of me soon, so come back and visit my webpage again.
If you have comments or want to talk about doggie things, you can e-mail me at:
I don't have my own email address, mom said I'm still too young. I think she just wants to read my emails first. I promise, if you write to me, I'll write back.
"Wow, I'm already 4 years old, where did those years go. I guess time flies for dogs. It seems like just yesterday that I was a puppy and now I'm all grown up and according to my mom and dad, I'm a very good dog.....most of the time. Hey, we all have our bad habits but I always try my best to be the dog my parents can be proud of.....like they were of my older brother Stoney who is waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge.
Please keep looking at my website and my mom will be adding new photos as time goes by. Like now we're in Myrtle Beach, spending our winter here instead of back home in the ice and snow that my parents don't like. So mom finally took some more photos of me.
